Being a blogger is not easy, it takes time, effort, creativity and a lot of commitment. Ever since I started blogging I wanted to attend one of the Latina Bloggers Summits #Weallgrow. After trying to make time to be there for the past 2 years I finally stopped trying and just did it!
The #WeallGrow Latina Summit is one of the best experiences I ever had as a journalist and as a blogger. It is so hard for me to describe what I have experienced in just a few words, but I can assure you that spending time with other latinas, other bloggers and a bunch of confident women has made me change my perspective of the blogger community.
During the three days of the Summit I met wonderful people that I can now call friends. People that in a short time have given me ideas for my blog, motivated me with some campaigns and advised me with my social media.
My favorite part of the Summit was the Mazda field trip. I think that trip gave us the opportunity to get to know each other a little bit better and also to share valuable time in different scenes around Long Beach. We had a blast driving the cars, painting and tasting really great wine and delicious chocolate.
The #alasparavolar party was beyond fun! The Frida Kahlo theme made for a perfect “latino environment” for all of us to dance, eat tacos, take lots of pictures and enjoy ourselves.
Story Telling time was a great way to learn from each other’s experiences. It is amazing to know that other bloggers started like I did, that they also had people that did not believe they could make it and that their courage and confidence brought them to where they are now.
#WeallGrow is definitely the perfect way to describe this experience, because WE ALL will GROW from this summit! I think we all cared about each of us growing and making our dreams a reality, and learning and sharing time together became a priority because of that instant camaraderie.
Neutrogena, Aveeno and HOLA were my favorite spots to hang out, I came back home with a bag full of amazing products and a heart full of gratitude. I can not wait to see all my latina bloggers again!
Sinceramente ser blogger a no es nada fácil. Toma mucho tiempo, esfuerzo, creatividad y muchísima dedicación. Desde el primer día que empece a “bloggear” tuve en mente asistir a alguno de los Summits (conferencia) de Latina Bloggers. Después de intentar ir por los últimos 2 años finalmente deje de intentarlo y me lancé a esta aventura.
El #WeAllGrow latina Summit ha sido una de las mejores experiencias que he tenido como periodista y como blogger. Es muy difícil para mi describir la hermosa experiencia pero les puedo garantizar que compartir con otras mujeres, otras latinas y con seres humanos seguros de si mismos ha cambiado mi perspectiva como blogger.
Durante los 3 dias de la conferencia pude conocer mucha gente de todas partes no solo del país sino del mundo, personas que ahora las puedo llamar amigas. Es increíble como en tan poquito tiempo alguien puede marcar una diferencia en tu vida y motivarte a continuar con tus sueños. Recibí consejos sobre campañas para el blog, sugerencias para las redes sociales y mucha motivación.
Mi parte favorita de este viaje fue sin duda el paseo de Mazda. Este paseo fue la oportunidad perfecta para conocernos con mas detalle los unos con los otros, para poder conocer un poco mas la ciudad y tener un día super divertido. Desde pasear, comer, degustar vino y hasta pintar hicieron de este día un día único.
La fiesta #alasparavolar fue muy divertida. El tema de Frida Kahlo logró que todos disfrutemos de un ambiente 100% latino, bailamos, comimos tacos y nos tomamos muchísimas fotos.
“Story Telling” fue uno de los momentos más conmovedores del viaje. El poder conocer experiencias de otras bloggers y entender sus sacrificios y logros me ha cambiado mucho la perspectiva de ver las cosas.
Esta parte del viaje confirma el nombre de “We All Grow” Todas crecemos, sentí esa fortaleza de otras bloggers al compartir sus experiencias, sus errores y las veces que les cerraron las puertas pero ellas nunca se detuvieron. Sinceramente se sintió el compañerismo, la union y las ganas de que TODAS podamos aprender algo nuevo.
Neutrogena, Aveeno y HOLA fueron mis lugares favoritos para compartir con otras chicas, regrese a casa con una maleta llena de productos que me serian muchísimo pero sobretodo regrese a DC con mi corazón lleno de gratitud y mucho aprendizaje. Estoy ansiosa por ver a todas mis Latina blogger pronto!
